My Monthly Reads – November 2017
My Monthly Reads – November 2017
My Monthly Reads – October 2017 edition detailed the eclectic range of books by my bedside which included two poetry books, two non-fiction books (including a self-help book), a classic, and three novels (not including the classic?). I am pleased to announce that I can now recycle the two non-fiction books and one of the novels and clear some space next to my bed……FOR SOME MORE BOOKS…????
I don’t often read too many non-fiction. I much prefer my escapism in the form of an epic, mind-bending piece of literature that I can get lost in but I have recently discovered the writings of Christina Lamb, a professional journalist, and I am smitten…keep an eye on this space for more reviews of Christina’s books!
My November reads, with the awarded COFFEE CUPS, are as follows:
- ☕☕☕☕☕ The Africa House by Christina Lamb
- ☕☕☕☕ The Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy
- ☕☕☕☕ How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
