My Monthly Reads – December 2016
My Monthly Reads – December 2016
Wow, compared to November’s Monthly Read, December was a pretty dry month! I never did get around to unpacking my books… It must have been all the Christmas fuss, you understand?
I ended up reading a total of 2 books (*sharp intake of breath*)! I know, right? So unlike me! I did, however, manage to read some children’s literature and an autobiography, oh, and I’m doing a 26 Books Challenge (which will be updated in real time). If you enjoy reading books that are slightly outside of your comfort zone then I strongly urge you (nay, beg you) to join me on this challenge. It’s not time-bound so there’s no pressure and, if you come across one that you think should be read by, like, EVERYONE, please let me know so that we can share the book-love.
I am also very, very excited to tell you about the book I’m reading at the moment thanks to one of my reading partners-in-crime. It’s a real page-turner so be sure to check back next month to get the low-down…Think: Russia, think: spies, think: unusual…
So, without further delay, my December reads with the awarded COFFEE CUPS:
- ☕☕☕☕ Split at the Root by Catana Tully
- Awful Auntie by David Walliams
