My Monthly Reads – October 2017

My Monthly Reads – October 2017

October was an incredible reading month!!  One historical novel, a book that inspired a thrilling Netflix Original (that I binge-watched😳!) and a piece of non-fiction about the culture, history and people of Afghanistan.  The pure enjoyment derived from the diversity of the books read this month re-affirms my desire to maintain an eclectic range of books by my bedside.

Currently, there are two poetry books, two non-fiction books (including a self-help book), a classic, and three novels (not including the classic😜) 🤓🤓😎🤓🤓.  I like to dip in and out of the poetry and non-fiction books…I don’t always fancy reading a novel just before bed.  Sometimes all I need is a short poem whilst, on another occasion, nothing less than a heavy Anna Karenina-esque saga will do…it’s all about balance!

So, without further ado, my October reads with the awarded COFFEE CUPS are as follows:

  1. ☕☕☕☕☕    Chocolate Girls by Annie Murray
  2.  ☕☕☕☕        13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher
  3. ☕☕☕☕         The Sewing Circles of Herat by Chistina Lamb

HAPPY READING!!! 🤓📚
